In The Makeup Says: This look was seen on the runways of Ashish, Halston, Herve Leger, and Temperley London. Take it from runway to realway by smudging a dark kohl pencil only around the lashline rather than on the whole lid. Skip clear gloss on your lids. Glossed lids work for photo shoots and the catwalk, but not so well for daily life – they cake up every time you blink. Instead, get a creamy look by lightly patting on a cream eyeshadow, and you might want to tone down to a sheer gray rather than black. Also, make sure that lips look “alive” by using some gloss on top of this look’s neutral lip. What fragrance would we wear with this look? In Black by J. Dell Pozo.
